Holidays en France

Ruth and I have just returned from a three week holiday in France spending a week in Ardeche and a week in Rhone Alps. We stayed at Camping Chateau de Boisson, C34 in the Club site brochure....a beautiful and stunning site. One afternoon we visited the hilltop village of Lussan. ALL VISITORS MUST PARK IN CAR PARK BELOW VILLAGE! On returning to our car..it had been  broken into and items solen from the back seat!! On returning to the site, the reception staff could not have been more helpful in trying to arrange glass repair/replacement. Carglass, the French division of Autoglass, failed to replace the glass in Avignon, Ales and Grenoble. Each time the 'wrong side' had been delivered. The French could not cope with a gauche, behind the passenger!! The site staff were excellent by trying to get the matter sorted,,,,their French far superior to mine!! Many thanks to the staff at Camping Chateau de Boisson. Our second site, RCN Belledonne is Dutch owned. Beware, not all the pitches are easily accessible to large outfits without the useof a mover!!
