Chapel Lane Site

This story happened on: 27/07/2012

just stayed at Chapel Lane site near Birmingham. I would highly reccomend this site. The site itself is very handly positioned just off the M42 but in a green area. Pitches are large and as usual the Wardens friendly and helpful. There is bus and train connections to Birmingham and Stratford on Avon.

Just outside the gates is a very good transport museum. Other local attractions include Cadbury World and for cricket fans Edgebaston is not far away.

Slightly further afield but easy to get to is the RAF museum at Cosford and the National Memorial Artboretum at Tamworth, both have free admission.

All said a very good site in a great location.

We have also stayed on this site a couple of times and totally agree that the spaces are very generous.   I would also like to point out that there are two National Trust houses withing thirty minutes of the site, Packwood House and Baddesley Clinton

Totally agree we use this site every year normally as a stopover on our way south but we have always enjoyed it and at some point would like to stay on it a bit longer to explore the surrounding area.
