Mobile Website Access

This story happened on: 09/09/2012

Recently I thought I needed to find a CL in the area I was travelling through. I accessed the website on my Windows mobile phone which runs Internet Explorer just like many computers. I discovered that although I could access the site I could not log on to be able to get to the CL site details, just got a blank screen instead of the logon screen. CC tell me that the website is not compatible with mobile phones and tablets, pretty poor show.

It may be that the page is too large to be displayed on mobile web, as are a lot of pages, when mobile data is transmitted, it does so in chunks, so as  not to clog up the network, chances are you were in a poor signal area, which would result in this type of issue, or fluctuating signal, when mobile companies built their masts they were only designed to cope with phone calls, then progressed to text messaging, and now data, it would not matter that you have a windows phone, i-phone or a android, it is the network which cannot cope with such large amounts of data being transferred. chances are if you had been able to establish a wi-fi connection, this would work on your phone, hope this helps
