Visit to Lucksall Caravan Park
This story happened on: 10/07/2013
Christine and I have just returned from a really wonderful long weekend at the Lucksall Park, just outside Hereford. It wasn’t supposed to be a long weekend but the Park, its pristine setting and the staff attitudes persuaded us to stay an extra day.
Owner Gary was so welcoming that everything on entry fell into place immediately and our reserved pitch ready for us when we arrived at about 2pm. We were all sorted with awning up and relaxing at 3pm.
We had a hard standing pitch of enormous size, and there are smaller grass pitches backing on to the River Wye for the Fishermen.
Amenities abound. There is a café/bar if you feel extra lazy and don’t want to cook yourself. Spotless and welcoming.
Walks on the adjoining hill were available for those that want to. There were lots of pretty flora, not so sure about fawna, but stories abounded about a really interesting walk.
Separate walk has been allocated for Dogs, which ours just loved.
Have to mention the Toilet Block facilities. Just excellent, very clean and easy to use with constant running hot water all day. Couldn’t ask for more!
So if you want a really upmarket Caravan Park with excellent hosting staff, alongside the River Wye, bursting with shrubs giving off delightful fragrances throughout the park look no further.
