Motorway Services

This story happened on: 22/09/2012

I'm probably not the first and probably not the last to question caravan parking at motorway service stations. We have just returned from Stroud Hill Park via the M6 Toll. The service station on this section we found very good even down to the provision made for a designated caravan parking area. This being so why do we often find non caravan owners who repeatedly block our parking area. Not one to normally complain I spoke to one offending car owner about the situation and at least to his credit he moved to the general car park - well done him! It would be a bonus if more motorists were like him. Back to Stroud Hill Park, it is an excellent site with friendly and helpful owners. We had a ten night stay in and area not known to us and even the weather was kind.
