Morn Hill CC site

This story happened on: 07/09/2012

Just wanted to thank the staff t Morn Hill CC site near Winchester for making our stay so welcoming.  Our only critisiscm was that the site was a little bit noisy from the 2 roads nearby, which also made the site easily accessible, I might add, and the toilets on the top site were just a bit too small for comfort. Other than that, beautiful flowers as you go in to the site and very well maintained.  Loads of places to visit in the area too.  We particularly like the Agricultural show in Alresford on the Saturday we were there.  We visited Isle of Wight, a couple of National Trust house, Portsmouth Historic Quay, Winchester and even went on the Watercress steam train.  Loads to do, lovely pubs and people.

The Chestnut Horse in Easton very excellent, the Cricketers Arms, also in Easton was microwaved food, lovely pub and staff and the food was nice but boo! to the soggy apple crumble ! We also went to the Thomas Lord pub, booking essential,at West Meon, didn't like it that the owners dog was wandering round the dining room grazing from the floor though.  We asked for it to be removed.
