Advice for disabled

This story happened on: 15/03/2012

I caravanned for years with my parents and my dad taught me how to tow (plus a Caravan Club maneouvering course). Eventually I got my own little van, a 1994 Marauder and off we went for several years with me doing all the towing as my husband is a very poor, scared driver. Then 11 years ago I suddenly became disabled and bedridden. The caravan went into indoor storage but I kept up my membership and insurance, never giving up hope that I could use her again. She's still in good condition although needing a full service and new tyres and i think I might now be able to manage but does anyone have any advice or hints on how to make life a bit easier. I have no motormover. I have a spoine problem which causes constant pain and herniated discs in my neckand I can only stand up or walk for a few minutes and I use a tiny mobility scooter. I can't lift anything so I'm worried about things like making up bed, all the bending to cupboards, emptying the loo and such as well as the tension of driving for long periods. I desperately want to get out in my beautiful little van again..
