all set for the touring year off 2013

This story happened on: 26/03/2013

betty the bailey has been services today - cost £120, filled up the car with diesel for the journey  - £99.02, stocked up on groceries - £45.  and thats before we get off the driveway or pay for the camp site.

we have certainly had to look at the cost of using the caravan this year and have not booked so many little trips away or weekends to the coast.  its not the cost of the site that bothers us its all the little extras.  we do all the usaul things like eat breakfast and dinner back at the camp.  we stick to a daily budget.  dont get me wrong we will have a good day out over budget and then just tighten our belts for a couple of days.  i thought about selling the caravan so save some money but i really would not have my heart in selling her.  we love our time in the van and cant wait to get away after the bank holiday.  leaving the boys at home and its girls on the road again.  to all have a great touring 2013.

Sorry you may be thinking of selling your caravan but bear in mind whether you sell or not you still have to buy groceries so perhaps it would be best not to factor this cost into your trips
