Blackpool South caravan site well worth a visit

This story happened on: 08/05/2013

Arrived at Blackpool South site on Saturday of the May bank holiday weekend, never having visited this site before I was pleasantly surprised by it. The layout is fine with plenty space on all the pitches, (which are all hardstanding so be sure to take your rock pegs for your awnings). All the pitches were clearly marked and parking instructions were clearly given for siting your van

As we had not been here before the help given by the wardens was really useful, with a map of the local shops, chippy, and various other amenities marked on it available at the reception.

The play area is bright shiny and new a wonderful addition to this site and my small grandson and many other children on the site loved it, I feel this is money well spent and more sites should have play areas of this standard.

For all caravaners with small children this site also offers a bathroom that is very child friendly, with a proper bath and Disney pictures on the walls, its a mystery to me why all sites dont have these as showers can be a nightmare with a toddler.

The site itself gives the impression of being well cared for, its very clean & tidy, the shower block and washing up areas are spotless.

This site offers easy access to Blackpool, and the surrounding area, Blackpool Zoo is a must, very reasonable.

Cleveleys just down the coast is a busy little town with lovely sandy beaches and Freeport at Fleetwood is well worth a visit for the shoppers amongst you.

All In all a very delightful site, well set up with fantastic facilities and even better staff,

To top it all off the sun shone all weekend now I know that that cant be ordered but I’ve booked again for August so hopefully we can get more of the same. Book this site you won’t be disappointed
