Hello everyone second trip under the belt

This story happened on: 13/09/2012

Hello everyone from the caravan club. We have just completed our 2nd trip in our caravan 8 days in woolacombe with the family and 2 dogs. This was our first trip on hard standing. Nice size plot but a little close to the vans opposite when reversing the van. Unfortunately it was not a cc site as we need pools and entertainment for the family. we stayed at woolacombe sands and they gave us discount for being in the cc . Although busy we were allowed to take the dogs into everywhere on site ,even the club which was very handy as we could all enjoy the holiday together. Although the site is probably the closest to the beach it had a very steep entry exit wit ha tight turning. But we managed. The motorway was very busy going however we returned on a Sunday and this was great as much quieter, to the fact the kids and wife fell asleep on the way home. ' what peace' ha ha. Everything went great , reversed the van perfectly, struggled to level the van cause of a slight slope and erected the awning with no arguements, all was quite and a little scarey went up ok but when the winds blew found out  I  did not have enough  hardstanding pegs, but no issues. we had a great time, even had time to visit the nearest CC site, THis time not up to what we required ,but the receptionist was very friendly and very helpul 10/10 for this lady. Unfortunately we have not been able to get away recently due to work and weather, we are pre planning another trip shortly and hopefully we will be off again. (not ready to put into storage yet) by the way I have just got a new bbq ,Cadis thanks for all your help in this and I think 90% of vaners had them at woolacombe.
