My Disabled Guide 5.......Exeter

Kenford International Caravan Park off A38

It’s not an CC site but I thought it was worth a mention

I was on my way to Cornwall and being a bit cavalier I thought I could do it in one go, needless to say I couldn’t so as it was getting late I looked up on my snooper sat/nav and to my surprise it lead me to Kenford Int CP site, on arriving I met the warden and despite his appearance, bear chest and leather trousers and covered in tattoos he was a very pleasant person, at first appearances I thought I was in a static Caravan site but having driven through those you come to the M/Home, Caravan and campsite ( tents ) I found a pitch o.k it was grass but electric hook up then I found out I needed a hose to fill up with water and at that time of the night I couldn’t be asked I had enough in the kettle for a cuppa anyway.

Anyway moving on, the site was a long ways from Exeter itself I wouldn’t want to walk it, still it was convenient for me as it was off the A38 and I wasn’t going to Exeter anyway, I’m glad now that I didn’t book it in advance I think it would have been a pain getting to and from Exeter itself. It did have clean toilets and wait for it, a pub of sorts on site.

So points out of ten……..4
