CAN WE HAVE OUR TABLE BACK PLEASE?

Unfortunately, The Caravan Club are not immuned to, shall we say, the less desirable characters of our society, indeed it is as they say, a fact of life.

Years ago, the Caravan Club was known for its Snobbery and more up market value membership, but that, I am afraid to say, is no longer the case.

Because of the economic climate, many more people have realised, that for very little money, they can now buy a cheap Caravan and have relatively cheap holidays with their families and while most conduct themselves in a proper and orderly manner, sadly, it attracts a few less savoury of our kind.

Thefts from Caravans and awnings have been on the rise for a long time, I recently had a Jockey Wheel stolen from my van while in storage and this on a Cossa Gold storage site.

Obviously, the Club cannot vet everyone who wants membership, but I do think its about time we became a Member only Club.

Sorry to hear what has happened to you on what was once one of our most visited sites and only stopped being so because we moved to Yarm only 7 miles from the site. Hope this will not put you off visiting Whitewater again in the future also The Grange at Durham is a spot on site, as is Teesdale at Barnard Castle. In fact as I sit hear I could list all the sites on the network as good ones only let down by a very few low life's who have latched on to our hobby and way of life.  As they say every basket of apples has a bad one in it.
