North Devon & M5 & M42 Services

This story happened on: 28/06/2014

Hi Everyone

Just got back from the best week ever away in Woolacombe, North Devon, Fabulous weather , excellent site (woolacombe sands, Might be worth affiliating this as its facilities and pitches are first class), Any way, just wanted to say anyone driving down from the North, used some first class services. Hopwood on M42 south or North, Have excellent drive in / drive out caravan parking, no hastle going in or out, And Taunton Deane on M5 going south, You have to park with the lorries but go to the bottom end of the lorry park nearest the services. If your travelling overnight park in the main carpark over two spaces, we did and no body bothers you. Also coming north stopped at Micheal wood services where they have relined some drive in / drive out spaces as soon as you turn right into the carpark, The services were busy but there were at least 12 bays and always space available,

Hope this helps

cheers Mark

We were just inand from Woolacome on a lovely CL during the hot week, it was amazing: glorious sunshine and stunning sunsets.  Like you we stopped at Taunton Deane which we often do, it is an ideal lunch stop for us as it is only an hour from home.  We park up below the lorries, drop down the steadies and enjoy a leisurely lunch.
