This story happened on: 28/10/2012

did any other members get caught up in the Brittany ferries, we did   ,we recieved a phone call   tues am  [when we were due to sail wed pm  saying make our way to Callie  . we set of in disbelief even after being told by 2 other outfits  that we were

not the first, being only 30k from santander  it looked like a long drive [turned out to be 825 miles and 3 days, ]  i will not book a return crossing from santander again   ,outward ok  but i will make getting back through france part of my trip, has  any of you other members stayed at Noja  camping Playa Johal. we found the site googd with plenty to do in and around noja .

Before we were hit by the news to make our way north we had  had a very good trip

car /caravan , visiting   Salamanca, Avila , Segovia and Burgos  all well worth avisit, . The sites were not busy as it was Sept that we made this trip,  If any  body has  any questions   let me know on club together ,   ps we are thinking of going down  the Algarve next year  can any one reccomend a good site guide/s for motorhomes  cheers all  i will look out for any  replies although i am not very good on the lap top.
