New Zealand on a tight budget.Day 3

This story happened on: 17/02/2017

With much better weather today we managed to dodge all the showers and even had a swim and a sun bathe after going to see the Kiwis in their special nocturnal house where they were very active poking around with their long beaks like blind men with white sticks. there was an adjoining heritage museum with some nice settler era buildings in and a lot of Maori artifacts and Moa bones. We then drove out to the beautiful Whangarei Heads for our swim before finishing off at the very lovely Whangarei Falls - dubbed the most photogenic in New Zealand - possibly by someone who was too lazy to do the three day trek to the Sutherland Falls.
