first outing of the year

hi,

first outing of the year,just a short trip to get away from it all,and what a place we picked,Holgates Silverdale site near Carnforth.

no wonder this site has won awards ,we could not fault it at all,easy to book in,very pleasant on arrival,and a big site ,with loads of space,the touring caravans where well spaced out,with every thing on level hard standing,

we took our dog and there was loads of walks around the site,in the trees and down the foot paths toward the beach,

we where spoiled with the indoor swimming pool,bar and excellent resaurant,and very well priced,we have no kids but there was kids soft play area,games rooms and wi fi available in the restaurant area.

we have been caravaning for twelve years and this is the best site we have ever been on,so good we needed to tell you about it.
