Shake Out

This story happened on: 02/04/2014

What a laugh my husband and I had this weekend gone.  Kenny and I are novices at caravanning.  We booked into Rookesbury, drove round the site couple time, it was so busy.  Luckily we got the last hard standing pitch.  Put the mover on the caravan, (named Bob lol) moved Bob into place went to take the movers off, one mover decided to stay locked onto the wheel.  Kenny did some research on the internet found out how the release the mover, which I am happy to say he was able to do.  Several people came to us to see if we needed help, I do feel that you become part of a community.

Then on Sunday the toilet flush stop working.  Through the weekend there were other things that kept going wrong, but we sorted then lol.

Rookesbury is a lovely campsite, very enjoyable long weekend.

Thank you Roy, yes there is a lot to learn.  I can now hitch up Bob on my own lol.  I am hoping to build up my confidence to leave to drive with Bob (caravan).

Glad to hear you had a great time and, although you had a few problems, people were happy to help and that you feel you have become part of a community. Thank you for sharing your story and I look forward to reading more of your caravanning adventures. Smile
