"Rosa"

This story happened on: 12/07/2017

After 18months  of  searching and frustration with some of the "rehoming" centres, a "normal" for us, service has resumed ,as we have now picked up the latest member of our family a 5yrs? tri colour short coat border? collie from a legal EU member Southern Ireland (complete with her very own passportsurprised)collected her from near Newmarket yesterday, she has according to her records been "in transit" since early May arrived via the quarantine centre early this month and has been in a foster home until we adopted hersmile, she is a bit overwelmed  at the moment so is being socialised slowly,we have numerous dog owners in our area who understand ,and will help, we have put the next (was from Sunday) c/van trip away on hold to give her a chance to settle at home,  she does so far travel well, jumped strait in the car, smile

The thing that has come to light ,is how much work goes into the rehoming process by the small animal sancturies  and the care taken to ensure their "charges"go to "good" homes,

If you are using a Windows system it should be straight forward to add a photo but you do have to prepare for it at the same time as adding text. I usually save the photo/s I wish to use to the desktop so its easy to link them across into the story.
