Dorset trip 2012

This story happened on: 14/06/2012

on May 13th 2012 after weeks of rain we were glad to be getting away, even if it comtinued to rain, at least we had time off work. we had booked into the Smedmore Caravan Club site, and althought there were no toilet or shower facilities, we were not concerned as we had everything we needed on board. we were both so pleased with the site, we were right next to the main manor house which was beautiful, and right in the middle of the most glorious country side I have ever been in, the walks were amazing. in the first week the weather was a bit wet but we managed to get out everyday, then as a bonus our second week was sunny and warm, how lucky were we? we dont generally stay in one site for more that a few days as we like like to see as much as we can while we are away, but decided we were going to have a relaxing stay, there was so much to do here so many places to visit that were not too far away, and we managed to walk to most of the places we wanted to go to, I would definatley go back to this site and completely reccomend it.

I live in Yorkshire whilst my brother lives in Dorset and so we make the trek down annually. Dorset is beautiful. Next time try the National Trust CL at Kingston Lacy. It is very good.
