local surprize

This story happened on: 16/09/2013

We made a decision to visit Stonhaven Queen Elisabeth park a few weeks ago

as its only 25 minutes drive from our home and due to a change of job I only have

sat-sun off now so to arrive before 8pm on the friday night is a bit of a challenge when

you dont finish till 6pm and have a 45min commute to get home, however we paid a visit to the site the week before and spoke to the wardens they were most helpfull

and said if we were to arrive after 8pm to phone them and they would let us in

however we arrived at 7.30 and they were waiting for us no fuss or bother.

The site is beautiful and has first class facilities, and when the trees and shrubs

mature it will be spectacular, the Bay fish and chips are the best I have ever tasted

all in all it was a great relaxing weekend,in fact I have booked another weekend

there next month.Well done the Club. jim walker

If the weather does not get worse we shall do all our planned stops as we head north and will be at Stonehaven some time in October Jim so may see you there. Looking forward to the fish and chips. Regards, Roy
