LOVE THE SITE/ HATE THE ENTRANCE.

This story happened on: 28/07/2012

Just returned from a beautiful week in Brighton staying at Sheepcote Valley. We have  stayed here about 4 times know and cannot fought the site at all, but can someone like the council sought out all the cars, vans, caravans that are parked along the drive up to the entrance, some which look like they have been dumped, and caravans that people are staying overnight in and probably using the facilities that we have to pay for. It also makes it very difficult for getting in and out of the park.

Stayed at this site earlier in the year, luckily had no problems getting our motorhome in or out. As you said there some people were overnighting near the entrance; I can't remember if the loo's had locks to keep out those that prefer to "wildcamp". There were so many cars/vans/caravans parked along the road that chaos would result if two caravans met head-on especially near the bends. Not sure what the local authority could do though since the road serves sports facilities and the park area - maybe car parks and yellow lines (but in today's economic climate ?)

Thank you for your comment there is no lock only a code that your given for the toilets, but if you visit for a day or so you have the code, which is what one motor home owner did whilst we was staying there, he stayed out side for the remainder of the week.
