Can Anybody Help?

If you look for the "Member's ad" - no guarantees that will mean zero chickens, but at least if it's a Member's ad they'll be well looked after, happy chickens - and you might find a friendly seller as well ;0)

You friends could try putting a 'Wanted' Ad on their local Freecycle.  We have quite an active group in this area, and caravans have been given away a couple of times.  Find out your nearest group on Google.  It may also be worth putting a 'Wanted' Ad on a supermarket notice board.  There might just be someone with an old van, who perhaps doesn't think it's worth selling, but who would be quite happy to give it away to someone who would love it!

How about a trailer tent ? not quite a caravan but its off the floor for sleeping, and cheaper to buy a good one second hand than a good second hand C'Van!!

A pal of mine just bought a 4 berth for £500 off e bay. Ideal for his wife & grandchildren at holiday time. Says it is probably 20 year old but clean & tidy.

Thanks Spender, I will Check that out on thier behalf! Trouble is when your on a low income £500 is a fortune to them. But that does seem a rather good price! Cheers Jan
