Cirencester a Motorhomers Paradise.
This story happened on: 29/06/2013
Have just returned from a fantastic trip to Cirencester Park Site. As a motorhomer we look for sites that have access to shops, pubs, restaurants, places of interest within walking distance. This site meets those needs and then goes so much further.
The site is in beautiful grounds with lots of space around vans. The facilities are outstanding and best of all they clean the facilities at a sensible time, between 2.00 and 4.00pm. This means they are never full as campers need to be off site by 12.00. Many sites close around 10.00 - 11.30 am which always causes congestion. Ths staff are all excellent.
The pitches are a good size, not all level and some a fair way from electric hook up, but there is so much space you never feel hemmed in.
The walk to town is either through the oustanding Cirencester Park or along roadways, each taking 20 - 30 minutes. There is an incredible array of shops including a Waitrose, Tesco and M&S aswell as butchers, fishmongers and veg shops. The museum is brilliant. I, as you will have worked out, was amazed at the beauty of this place.
