CL in North Yorkshire

Just returned from a 5 day stay at Colburn Grange CL near catterick, a very handy site for touring that area as it is just 10 minutes off the A1. Site is level, nicely shaded and has hook ups, toilet and shower. , there are 3 supermarkets andnumerous shops and pubs within a 1mile radius. We used the site as a base for a walking holiday in the Yoorkshire dales, Richmond is only 4 miles away and Leyburn and Reth only 10. We also explored a bit of Cleveland, Hutton Budby, Stokesleya nd the lovely, characterful Osmotherley.  The site owner was very friendlya nd helpful and we would heartily recommend this site as an excellent alternative to towing on the winding roads of the Dales.
