Day…whatever it is??

The challenge of being on a beautiful site set into the stunning French countryside is that you don't have any WiFi or signal.

It’s annoying at first but actually quite refreshing to be completely cut off from the outside world once you get used to it.

As I said in my previous update the site was amazing and when it came to having something for dinner, the owner recommended going into the local town of Chateaux Chinon. A small town full of great facilities (a fuel Garage, supermarket etc) including a number of restaurants. We decided to treat ourselves to some of Frances best cuisine at the hotel restaurant in the centre of town.

The restaurant boasts views across the valley and it didn't disappoint us. A typically French restaurant with great food and nice local atmosphere.

We made it back to our site just before sunset ready for another round of Blackjack with M&M’s as the key currency. It's amazing how winning your own body weight in M&M's focuses the minds of the younger gamblers in our party. The main challenge is stopping them from eating their bounty before the game is over.

Several losing hands later we set up the beds and got ready for another cosy night in the motorhome. We all drifted off quickly and I think after a few restless days we slept soundly for the entire night.

That was until the harsh reality of the alarm awoke us all at 5.30am so that we could start our early morning drive to Disney Land Paris arriving when it opens (hopefully).

Sounds like you're all enjoying your trip. Hope Disney land Paris is good too.
