Nice little tour

This story happened on: 15/04/2013

Started just over 2 weeks ago, because of work commitments I can only book late, weve been trying a CL for 18 months now but everytime its fully booked so was suprised to get a slot the night before at seat house, Gargrave.

A wonderful 4 days, cold but dry, very cold at night with temps dropping well below zero, the water freezing also the gas froze one night.

From there we moved up to Cumbria and the riverside, although there is a CL we opted for the commercial side as we had friends coming the same time.

8 days of relaxing and plenty walks around the moor, 2 nice pubs in 2 nearby villages with sunday lunch in one of them.

Our friends went home on the wednesday whilst we got late availability at Wharfedale near Grassington.

We've been to Wharfedale many times and is only an hours drive from home, great walks right at the entrance where we walk the dog for hours.

Grassington is a lovely place and all the pubs allow dogs and the food is grand.

We always buy local fresh produce and now the local shopkeepers know us well.

It could be nearly 2 months before our next trip away but wherever we go, Wharfedale is sure to be one of them.

We now have the time to erect a full awning to 30mins.
