Great time despite the Mishap

Well we managed to get away after all, 3rd May was my birthday and we headed of the Oysterber Farm, Bentham/Ingleton.

As we tried to hitch up the jockey wheel broke and the van ended nose deep in tarmac.

@&*% , I thought out aloud, we couldnt lift the van so I got the car-jack and lifted it that way, luckily no damage done so off we went.

Arrived on site, 1 space left and we enjoyed beautiful sunny weather till this afternoon when we got home.

Visited Bentham and the Riverside site (BOB) where weve stayed before, also Ingleton which is lovely, theres so much to do in that part of Yorkshire and fantastic hiking and dog-walking areas.

All in all, a lovely weekend, go abroad wednesday (lads trip) then back for more caravanning. Cant wait. rain or shine.
