a weekend away

This story happened on: 26/11/2014

due to me purchasing a brand new autotrail 700 , i was given a free weekend break at waterrow tauring site , i saw the brochure and finally had the site booked . on arival we were greeted at reception by the most fantastic greeting by two of the best wardens (owners) we have met too date , and may i say what a wonderful site it is too (Adults ) only ,the river tor runs just below the site , but a nice wooded walk toward ashbrittle will take you toward the old viaduct .where it is said that a farmer told the rail company there were sheep on the line many years ago this stopped the steam train and the farmer with NO sheep on the line got the autograph of the beetles .

a walk the other way by road takes you round the block if you like ,back toward the very pretty rock inn , and the 3227 road back to the site within 300 yards of the inn.

we intend a visit again next year we liked it so much ,

in the barn itself on site is a fully functional shower block (heated and toilet block also Heated , pay phone and coffee machine , and laundry room . oh and a microwave oven .

close to taunton .barnstable exmoore etc . 10/10 highly recomended ,unfortunately i have no photos to post .on here as the club still do not have a good enough system in place for photos .

Golly

It is very easy to post pictures in the Story Section. All you have to do is select the photos, up to five. I usually resize and save to my desktop and upload them from there. Unfortuntally this does not work on other parts of the forum.
