Cornish Magic

This story happened on: 08/09/2012

This was only our second visit to Cornwall, however, we came away with the view that for views and stunning vistas, this is the best site the CC has.

The views, the walks and yes the sunsets are truly beautiful. On the down side its windy but what would you expect on a cliff top and in our experience if you want views you usually have to climb for them.

We stayed for a total of nine days and were blessed with mainly good, sunny weather and with Tintagel to the left and Boscastle to the right - great for walking with lots to see and do.

The facilities on site, whilst being spotlessly clean, could surely deserve a second and even third dedicated toilet/shower block.  The site was full to capacity during our stay and the limited facilities inevitably led to some queuing.

The pitches are all a reasonable size & everyone has a view.  We found walks in abundance and even a nearby waterfall with a quaint tea room which offered free wi-fi, perhaps the club should think about offering this facility free to all! Having stayed at the St Agnes site only a few weeks prior we were ready for the possibility of high winds and if you are planning to stay - make sure you take storm straps and lots of pegs for your awning.  Hopefully, you will also enjoy your stay at this beautiful site.
