Strathclyde Caravan Club Site

Just been to this new site.This will be one of the best for next year.Very good wardens always helpful.The facilities are first class as you would expect from a new Caravan Club site but the bonus is that you are so close to Strathclyde Park Loch and the M & D theme park for the kids.There are restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance and you also have a choice in Hamilton ,Motherwell and Bellshill which are only minutes away in the car. Glasgow and Edinburgh are also within easy reach for days out.

That's good to hear, I know the area and it will be very handy for a lot of people, thanks for letting everyone know a bit more about it. Are you putting a review on the site page?Smile

Just got back  after a 5 day stay. The wardens were great as were the facilities certainly for the disabled visitor. The site will need time to mature and the planting of some trees and bushes will help the drainage problems of a very heavy clay soil. As this site is only 30 minutes from where we live I know very well the problems of the clay soil!! 

 I can see it being used for visitors to see this lovely part of Scotland. However I can also see it being used as a stop over for going further north or south.
