I was sad to leave Cambridge but the Human that I own wanted to head into London for some caravan show or another. I don't mind him going off as my doggie family lives in Hatfield and I go and visit my Mum, brothers, and sister while he swans off and does whatever it is he does.
Despite having been to Commons Wood on countless occasions, my human had never had the privilege of a canine companion before. So I insisted on taking him for a walk along the site's Dog Walk area.
Even I was amazed at the countless options of walks through the woodlands and countryside that are on offer from this site. At first glance it looks way too suburban to be any good for walking, but looks can be deceiving. I highly recommend it, although thanks to the show we never got to explore much of the local area. The Human liked the idea that Hatfield station is a short drive away, and trains to Kings Cross take just 20 minutes.
