mid week break in west midlands

This story happened on: 15/11/2013

On our 2 week tour of the south u.k we had 3 nights in STANMORE HALL club site and after reading some bad reports we were dreading it. Totaly the opposite was in store, a difficult drive to get to bridgnorth with traffic problems meant we were 3 hours late in getting there. The wardens welcomed us with open arms after we told them about our day. The warden even came over to our pitch to make sure we were ok and settled in alright. ( how good is that )  Then we aquired 3 new pets in the form of peacocks that are resident on the site. wow !! The peacocks came to our van every day when we got back for a feed. This site was immaculate even in a wet october. Handy for IRON GORGE OR CADBURY WORLD. Take a trip to dudley canal as that too is worth a visit.    Happy Caravaning !!!

Sounds lovely, I've been wondering about visiting the midlands and this sounds like a good base.
