My Poor Experience Of Melrose Gibson Park Club Site
This story happened on: 15/02/2013
i arived on site at melrose gibson park this was my first experience of the caravan club and there sites and was a BAD ONE. i arrived at 11.45 am with a arrival time of 12pm which was given from the club which i had on my booking info . i went straight to the office where my caravan was parked just outside the door which i didnt think was a problem but ohh it was . i was promply told by the warden whos attitude towards me was like i was a stupid school kid which did annoy me to movw my caravan . and this wasnt it theres more ... i was then quiestioned by another warden that i HAD to take a trailer test to tow my caravan which is wrong . my caravan weighs under 750kg and my car is 1400kg with a gross weight under 3.5 tons i can drive on a b licence info received from the DVLA and POLICE . then i checked in selected my pitch and all was fine . until my tv wouldnt work with my aerial . so i then went to the office to ask why then i was told that i would have to pay £15 for a aerial so my tv would work . wasnt told this when booking . so i paid this ... i then had family coming to visit me on site so i let them in .then again spoken to like a school kid by the warden that i had to ask for there permision to have FAMILY in MY caravan
at the age of 22 i feel that the wardens dont like young caravaners on there site well to say i wont be back and i have been treated very wrongly in this site just because my caravan cost £700 and not £70,000 the looks and the way people are these days are shocking
and the caravan club will be receving a letter of complaint about this site !!!!!!
