I suspect its always the owners responsibility to return a caravan/motorhome to the dealer of purchase in order to have problems resolved. Obviously there is always the option from the dealer for a goodwill payment to cover fuel costs but that can't be guaranteed. All the caravans and the two motorhomes I have purchased new have always come from dealers within 20 miles of where I live which makes warranty issues  much easier. I can appreciate the frustration of having issues with a new motorhome ( I have had some to cope with myself!) However motorhomes (of any make)  are not the same as cars and will often require some work, albeit often minor, to be attended to. I hope you get the matter sorted out to your satisfaction, please keep us informed.

A water leak inside the van can be very stressful, especially if it's already been 'fixed' once.

there are a few options and getting legal advice if considering rejection is paramount...you will need to understand the process and get it right.

however, if it's really just sloppy pipe joint work then you could consider getting it fixed locally and billing the dealer.

recently read an article about one motorhomer who was having a similar issue and he replaced all the factory joints with John Guest ones and has had no problem since.

motorhome pipework can be a right pain but, if built and checked correctly, should last for many, many years.

the pump kicking in reflects a small loss in pressure so it sounds like the leak isn't a gushing one (pump would be continuous) but a dribble (of some size) somewhere.

if you know where it is, and it's accessible and you (or someone else can repair it) check with the dealer for their view....waiting months for something that may be very small has to weighed against any warranty invalidation going forward.

Chances are that swift have not fitted the pipe reinforcing inserts into the pipe work as no were fitted on mine and the pipes popped out of the fittings. I have since heard that they never use them. which is not good practice at all.
