Hot water at Minnows AS site Tiverton

This story happened on: 11/10/2013

Do visit Minnows if you would like to experience one of the last horse drawn canal barge trips in England, an excellent day out ! The site is situated with easy access from the M5 and is well set out  with direct access to the tow path. The owners were helpful and pleasant. I have one complaint though, there is no adjustment to the water temperature in the showers. Simply press a button and the water comes out on a timer. Oh boy was it scalding hot, I obviously only used it the once, my skin was reddened and I fortunately hadn't started to wash my hair.So I went back to the caravan and used my own facilities. I do think something should be done about being able to adjust the temperature.

We have just had 5 nights  stay at Minnows and had an most enjoyable break. It is well positioned for walks and touring mid Devon. Staff are extremely helpful.  Well managed site clean and tidy especially toilet and washing areas. Traffic noise was not intrusive and we certainly intend to make a return visit.  Easy access from the M5
