Our New Forest Holiday or Not

This story happened on: 22/06/2014

Car serviced. Caravan serviced. All clean and shiny with every very thing packed for a two week holiday. Left York at 2 am to go on a steady ride down the M1 to New Forest Centenary site. On the road enjoying the blissful solitude of a motorway in the early hours when about 3 miles from Leicester\forest Services we heard a strange hum and within minutes were stranded on the hard shoulder with no power.. The rescue and recovery service we use were fantastic Three relays later found us back on our drive exactly 12 hours after we set out. Rang the club site at Bransgore. No worries they will hold our pitch until we know how poorly our car is. So here we are sitting in our garden enjoying a beautiful evening bbq when we should have been sitting in the caravan club site at Bransgore enjoying a lovely evening bbq. But as we are retired and can go at a drop of a hat to any one of the Club sites we are not TOO disappointed at the turn of events. At least we are un hurt the caravan is fine and I am sure the car will soon be up and running. So BRansgore we will be coming EVENTUALLY!!!

Hope you are now safely on your way.  Bransgore is a lovely site and very happy it is so close to us for a weekend away.
