New Year near Hastings

Three years ago we spent the New Year with friends at the Fairlight Wood CC site nr Hastings. We had a good time walking the dogs through the adjoining woods, strolling to the nearby pub and looking at places on the East Sussex coast. On New Years Eve we visited the Battle of Hastings site, it was very atmospheric, no one else was there and we walked the battlefield in the misty late afternoon.
