when the worst happens

while on holiday this month in the new forrest with my wife and grand son my car suddenly start misfireing and smoke came from under the bonnet. I quickly pulled over into a safe area and got my wife and grandson out turned of the engine and grabbed my fire extinguisher just in case. I then made the call to mayday break down who after some short checks informed me a fitter would be with me in half an hour at tops.The fitter arrived and found the fault to be a faulty fuel filter spraying diesel fuel onto the hot exhust he repaired the fault and cleaned all spilt fuel away from the engine bay started the car and made certain all was well. so my fellow caravaners do not risk not having breack down cover you never no when you may need it and the cost of mayday cover  is a small price to pay for peace off mind. I will certainly be renewing my cover with them when its due well done may day break down fantastic service.
