DANESWOOD FARM, FLAMBOROUGH

This story happened on: 02/09/2012

I am interested in what people think to this site, as i am currently a regular camper here, merely because i rely on them storing my van, it seems the site is deteriorating.

If anyone could recomend or give advice on other sites close by that also provide storage be greatfully recieved :)

After years of visiting this site we will not be returning, fouling in the woods, drugs, shouting, singing late at night, families packing up and leaving because of it, never again, downhill doesnt come close.

I know this is an old discussion but had to add something as we ended up at Daneswood by mistake thinking it was still a CC site.

Despite a security barrier (with siren!!!)  and new toilet block (filthy and unfinished) it is somewhere you just want to get away from! We have never stayed on a site that is noisier in the middle of the night than in the daytime. We were woken at 2am by men shouting and walking/running about. The site is full of contractors coming and going at all hours, plus an enclave of large continental caravans.

Our worst experience in 30 years of caravanning, sad to say.
