War Horse

 War Horse 2
War Horse 1          War Horse 5

Monday evening was a trip to the Millenium Centre in Cardiff . They were presenting the stage version of War Horse . What a show ! The storyline was good & played well by a good company of actors . I thoroughly enjoyed the singing ( in the style of countryside folk songs) . Without a doubt the main attraction was the mechanical horses AMAZING . The puppeteers made the horses so realistic including the horse sounds . Where did the 2hrs plus go ? It was literally that enjoyable .

Of course the story is based around the WW 1 , which was so poignantly portrayed & serves as a reminder of the tragic losses suffered by villages & towns up & down the country . Young people will have got some insight into what it was like back then .

I can recommend this show as a worthwhile entertaining evening , if it comes near you  go to see it
