Norfolk Broads

This story happened on: 12/08/2012

We had the best holiday every.  Arrived at our first stop which was Milestone.  What can I say a fishermans dream.  The site was so beautiful I booked a night for our return journey.  We then travelled on to Broadlands Caravan site which is exclusive to the caravan club.  It was beautiful.  It was set right on the broads by Ludham Bridge.  Perfect for fishing, walking and hiring a boat if you fancied a day on the broads.  We were very lucky as some friends stoppped at Ludham bridge and took us on their boat for a day.  We also found the best, quietest beaches every, Sea Palling was amazing.  A vast white sandy beach with seals swimming off shore.  Cromer and Sheringham also brilliant for a day out.  No where was packed and we always found a parking spot.   Cant recommend this area enough.   We came back with such a good tan our older children think we sneaked abroad.  Decided we are going to book that area again next year.  Have fun.

Sounds good, hope you've put this on the site reviews too. We were hoping to go to this site last year but cancelled due to family illness, looking forward to booking it again. Smile

I think Norfolk, the Broads, and Broadlands CC site are great- but then I'm a bit biased being a Norfolk person who goes sailing and caravanning, and spent his childhood holidays at Sea Palling! Smile

One of the best sites we have been on, very clean toilet block but keep of the grass when it's wet!
