Just back from Cirencester Park

This story happened on: 01/04/2013

Just got back from our 2nd trip of the year and I think it rates as the coldest trip we have had away in the caravan since we started back in 2000. Its our 2nd visit to Cirencester Park and well worth a visit. Lovely countryside and dogs walks. The site was pretty packed over the Easter weekend and due to the cold weather the site struggled to cope with the electrical demands placed on it with a continual number of power outages. The poor wardens were rushing about trying to get people to be sensible with how many kilowatts they were using! On another note it is a shame that many drivers cannot keep to the 5 mph speed limit particularly when so many children are cycling and using their scooters on the site. I cringe when i see outfits speeding around in excess of 20 mph.Not quite sure how to stop this apart from installing more cctv cams and giving instant bans to anyone that cannot drive responsibly.

Have to agree Cirencester is a lovely site but not surprised to hear of the power problems when you consider what people take with them.On the issue of site speed it's something I've commented on many times.Although it is obviously the parents responsibilty to look after their children the site is not a race track but also it's play area as the dedicated areas are there for that.
