Bien Assise in Guines & 4 Vents

We have just returned from a fabulous trip to France. We pre-booked before we went and alot of people said it was not necessary but as Im a bit OCD I did and I just wanted to say as Bien Assise was fully booked on both nights before and after our trip so I am glad we did. It was excellent for one night but we woldnt have wanted to stay any longer it was just too cramped. It is wonderful though to drive the 20 mintes to Wissant on the coast and watch the boarders and eat ice ream on the sea front. 4 Vents is fantastic. The staff cannot do enough to help and advise you and are always welcoming. The pitches are huge and the facilities are very clean and we never had to queue. It was very hot and the pool was not too busy and very well maintined. The criossants were lovely but sold out very quickly from the onsite bread man who is there every morning. We drove out to Provins and had a great day sightseeing and caught the train to Paris from Tournan where parking is free and it only takes about 45 minutes. Disneyland Paris was 20 minutes away and we bought tickets from reception. We found parking is cheaper in the multi storey near Disney village and just the same distance. We had a nice meal in the Rainforest Cafe, not the best we have ever had by far (2 course set meal 22.50 euro plus drinks) but the dining experience was good in the rainforest complete with elephants and monkeys! Cant wait for next summer
