Electricity issue
A warm welcome to this lovely, well kept site. We wanted to change pitch, which was sorted straight away, we immediately tripped the electricity so paid an extra €1.50 for 10amps, but it continually tripped whenever we put the kettle on (turning fridge & water pump off beforehand) no other electricity used. Dishes are washed in the unisex toilet block sinks, and not much warm water available. A charge of 50 cents for a 4 minute shower. Site is quite remote and we felt there was a lack of local information displayed (ie. nearest supermarket/recommended places to visit/clear cycle & walking routes would be helpful) particularly in English. We would recommend Gorinchem, Utrecht and Leerdam. We learnt that you can download the Uflex app to have a bus pick you up from site, and trains are easy & regular from Leerdam (which would have been helpful info, on a notice board perhaps). The grass, flowers, hedges, toilet block and good sized pitches were very well looked after.
Upon departure, we received a further bill for Tax, WiFi, electricity used and an extra £1.50 per day for 10amp.
