Beautiful Site

Stayed at the end of their season, but it was still quite full with all nationalities of visitors. The pitches are divided off by hedges with some facing a lovely lake with the resident ducks letting you know that it was their lake...... The facilities were first class, spotlessly clean. The site offered a free bus service into St Emilion which was really useful. St Emilion itself is a small but beautiful medieval town with its cobbled steep streets and plentiful wine shops. There is a site seeing bus/train that runs around all the local Chateau Vineyards where you can get off and sample the local wines. My only caution is that sat-navs do struggle with the location and try to bring you through some very small roads some no wider than a footpath. It was quite a topic of conversation with my German and Dutch fellow motor homers. But, don't be put off, it's well worth it. Because once you do arrive you get a great welcome from the multi-lingual staff, and find yourself on a great site.
