Good for families

An excellent site

We stayed here in our MH in July 2017. It is a very good site which is aimed at families, although we are a couple and enjoyed our time. Its has 2 swimming pools both of which are small and are more for cooling off. There is an on site restaurant which serves meals throughout the day which were of a reasonable quality. A major plus point for this site is the friendly and helpfulness of all the staff all staff we met were very good. The site has a boating lake on which you can use the supplied pedaloes which are free. There is a lovely dog walk around the boating lake and the site is dog friendly. Most evenings (high season) this is some sort of entertainment around the restaurant area. There is a small onsite shop which sells basic items but little else, that do sell the most lovely bread, the morning croissants and pain au chocolate was some of the best we had in France. There is a free shuttle into St Emillion which is a stunning village. If you go into St Emillion to buy wine then do so at the Council run "Maison Du Vin" where you can buy the best wines at good prices. The shuttle drops you off right outside the Maison Du Vin. There are literally a hundred wine cellars in St Emillion and you can get overcharged by the private sellers, but at the Maison Du Vin you get the best wine at good prices. I have given this site overall 5 stars but four stars for peace and quite because the evening disco can be heard throughout the site (but it does stop at 10:30pm) We really enjoyed at time here and will return.
