Visited for a week mid June whilst touring, having been here a few years ago. The cafe/bar and pool areas have been improved in that time. This is a well run, clean site with good facilities. Pitches are grass with hedge borders and most have tree shade - a definite advantage when it hits 40+C as this time. Our pitch on this visit was at the back of the site in an area with a lot of self catering lodges: One opposite was hired out to a family group of about 12 who certainly made the most of their long weekend. It was rather noisy in the evenings and I suspect this gives an idea of what it would be like during peak times. We would visit again in off peak months. Pitches closer to the lake in the predominately touring are would be preferable if you get a choice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Its a super area to walk among the vineyards [and into St Emilion itself - about 45 mins]
