Looking forward to our next stay.

What a pleasant surprise, this is the best site we have stayed at. A beautiful location, next to our favourite wine ... what more could you ask. There was so much to do, this is one classy site. The pools and facilities were excellent, the welcome on check-in was friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay. Brilliant!

Loved it!

This site is impeccably clean and very friendly. The pitches were of a good size and we had good tall hedgerows between us and the neighbouring pitches which offered privacy. The pool was great with a separate pool for just swimming alongside the one with a waterslide meaning that you could swim without being splashed by people entering down the slide. My daughter is 4 & she adored this site, it had childrens toilets/ childrens showers/ baby baths etc. Really very well equipped for families. The lake has pedalos/ rowing boats on it & you can help yourself at no extra cost. The site it very close to St Emilion which is just divine, such a pretty place and in the heart of the vineyards. We loved this site and would return tomorrow!

Recent 4 day stay

A good location for visiting St.  Emilion. We used the free bus service to the town which was fine although spaces on it are limited. Our friends used this service and the site unfortunately forgot to collect them on the return trip. The pitches were not well maintained with many badly rutted after rainfall. There were many that simply needed the grass cutting. The shop was well stocked with local wine but little else.  The pool was good and well heated to 28 degrees while we were there. We did not try the bar/restaurant. The town of St. Emilion is well worth the visit and tour but there is little else in the immediate area of interest. Staff on the site were very pleasant and helpful.

lovely Lakeside

A very nice site with helpful staff. One day we used the free shuttle bus and walked to the station for an trip to Bordeaux. Other days it was an easy cycle into stunning St. Emilion. There was a helpful information cabin with details of walks and bike rides in English. You just helped yourself to the ones you wanted to do. The sanitary facilities were clean and modern with good showers. I have marked it down for noise because we were next to Belgian football supporters. We do not mind high spirits but they started playing loud music at 7am. It stopped after 90 minutes when they left.

Good Site in the Heart of Vineyard Land

This is a very nice site. Pitches and services on pitches are well up to the mark. Good restaurant and an adequate shop. Sanitary facilities are good and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Swimming pool looked OK but we didn't try it. Vineyards on all sides as far as the eye can see, and a free shuttle bus to Saint Emilion, what's not to like.

Excellent stay

Stayed here for 9 nights in September 2015. Very few kids and became an adult only site by default.  Weather glorious and we had a lakeside pitch.  Site very clean and well kept.  Staff very friendly.  Only downside was the restaurant which when we went for our one and only visit it had run out of most things on the menu.  However would go back and Saint Emilion and Bordeaux were fantastic.

Lovely and Friendly

Stayed here for 4 nights in September. We arrived from the North and had no problems. Staff were friendly and helpful, no problems with speaking English. Facilities were good and the restaurant was great, the chef even gave me the recipe for the lemon sauce! There is a minivan that runs trips into the village and it's a short walk to reach the train station from there. €19 per adult for a ticket to Bordeaux and takes about 25 mins. We will be visiting again next year hopefully.

Summer hols....

Just returned from a 9 night stay, easy to find, well laid out, spacious pitches (no73) easy access to St Emilion and Bordeaux, shower and wash facilities could be cold at times of high activity, site busy but then it is prime summer season. Pool busy but plenty of sun loungers, bar and restaurant ok, shop was little sparse of goods etc, but prob due to the high demand and the site being busy, would we go back? probably....some great vineyards and tours, recommend Chateaux Grangey for a trip and tasting, great new vineyard.

A must for wine lovers

We stayed here for three nights in July. Great area for cycling and exploring the vineyards. Pleasant site but toilets facilities were stretched at times. Would go back.

Beautiful lakeside campsite

The site is one and half mile from St Emilion which is the most lovely town, facinating and pretty. The campsite is clean and tree lined pitches, really shady in the very hot weather. We drove into St Emilion and just before you get to the roundabout at the end of the road there is an Aire parking for motorhomes next to the tennis courts on the right. We also parked here and walked the 20 minutes to the train station where we caught the train to Bordeaux, E38,00 return for two of us, we bought tickets on the train, you can park at the station too in a motorhome. I recommend you visit Bordeaux it is fantastic, we went on the Sunday but lots open especially after 2.00pm and in the centre there was a flee market in the morning and indoor market was open too, great to see and also shopping good.
