Third stop on way to Austria
Stayed here for 4 nights in June after leaving Blankenheim. No problems getting onto site which is a ten minute walk into town where there are lots of restaurants. Site had been closed the week before due to Rhine bursting its banks but there wasn't much mess on the pitches which was good. Motorhome/camper vans seemed to be more closely packed than caravan/awning combinations. Facilities were really good with excellent toilet and shower blocks. Supermarkets five minute walk away. Took train to Koblenz to see castles on Rhine. Also took cable car from Rudesheim up to the Niederwald Monument and then back down on another cable car to take the ferry back up river to the town centre. Site is next to ruins of Hindenburg bridge. Would recommend.
