We had heard so many good reports for this site and we were not disappointed when we stayed here for two weeks. The owner, his wife and staff could not have been more helpful, never passing by without a chat. Facilities are second to none, spacious showers and toilets. Laundry facilities excellent. Spectacular scenery, a pleasant walk along the Rhine into Rudesheim where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops all with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Definitely be staying here again.
Excellent site
Only stayed for 1 night on our way to Italy but is is a lovely site. The walk along the Rhein was lovely and we had a great meal in the town.
The staff where friendly and accommodating. The ferry crossing was a chance to take some great photos.
Be careful one of the approaches to the site is under a bridge 2.7m the sat nav tried to take us this way.

Went last year and enjoyed it so much decided to return
Lovely site with friendly staff the owner Olvier extremely helpful giving advice and local knowledge a brilliant spot we had a pitch over looking Rhine .We were there the last week in June when they close the roads to traffic so we rode our new electric bikes from Rudesheim to St Goar which was amazing to see bikes and skaters and a real party atmosphere we were also there for the Rhine in flame which was good hardly used car as you can walk into Rudesheim

Superbly located site
A gem of a site, located in a beautiful area. It is an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of the town. Site management were friendly and helpful. Toilet block was ultra modern and immaculately clean.Public swimming pool with diving boards, next to site. Pitches were small but it was possible to sit by the Rhine and watch the river traffic. Convenient areas for dog walking. We will definitely return.

Perfect Location
This camp site has a wonderful location on the banks of the Rhine near Rudesheim. It is easy to walk or cycle into Rudesheim where you can get a reasonably priced meal and taste the local wine. There are also shops very close by within walking distance. Good cycle paths along the Rhine. Sanitary facilities are excellent. Pitches are a bit close together and have no markers separating pitches which can become quite crowded. Overall a lovely site in a great location. Only downside is no wifi on site. There could also be more water points around the site.

Great site on the banks of the Rhine
Ideally located site on the banks of the Rhine. Adjacent public swimming pool and choice of 3 supermarkets in a walkable distance. Cheerful efficient staff who will go that extra little way to make your stay enjoyable. Town of Rudesheim practically next to the site. Bit "tacky souvenirish" with rather many tourists at times. Rudesheim is a tie up overnight venue for Rhine cruise barges. The upside of this excessive tourism element is the choice of reasonably priced eateries which are readily locatable. We preferred to get on our bikes and pedal the excellent bike track along the river
Super Site
Well run site. We were surprised by the luxurious standard of the sanitaries. The site was well run with helpful staff. One evening there was a storm forecast. The staff alerted us to take in our awning. The storm duly arrived and winds brought down several large branches from trees. The staff were on hand immediately the storm ended to clear up the debris. Will be staying there again. Only downside was no wifi.
Thoroughly enjoyable
Spent 5 nights here visiting friends nearby - a site that we have nothing but praise for even though our stay crossed over a bank holiday when the site was jam packed full. Ruedesheim is a tourist centre so bags to do and see - the boat trip up the Rhine is to be recommended. The site is well run but open 24/7 so maybe an idea to lock things up if you go out. The wash blocks are new and possibly some of the best we have seen - the piped music warrants mention. English widely spoken. All in all, one of the best sites we have been on.
